ÖWNBOSS RELEASES ‘POP THIS’ ON CATCH & RELEASE
Brazilian DJ and producer Öwnboss lands on FISHER’s Catch & Release imprint with ‘Pop This’, arriving with support from some of dance music’s biggest names. Released on 18th September, the single continues a busy run for the artist behind ‘Move Your Body’.
The track’s support list includes Oliver Heldens, Joel Corry, Odd Mob, FISHER and Firebeatz, alongside B Prada, Matt Faulk, Murat Salman, Quadrini and Soulfix. That backing gives ‘Pop This’ a strong introduction, with its release on Catch & Release placing it firmly within the label’s club-focused catalogue.
Hailing from Florianópolis, Brazil, Öwnboss rose to international prominence through ‘Move Your Body’, his collaboration with Sevek. The record became a major breakthrough, earning an edit from Tiësto and introducing his sound to audiences far beyond his home country. Further releases including ‘Left & Right’ with FAST BOY helped build on that recognition.
His career has also taken him to stages including Tomorrowland, Rock in Rio and Ushuaïa Ibiza, bringing the Brazilian producer’s music into some of electronic music’s most recognisable settings.
With Catch & Release behind the release and an impressive spread of DJ support, ‘Pop This’ marks another step in Öwnboss’s growing presence across the international house scene.
