ODD MOB & OMNOM’S HYPERBEAM PROJECT RETURNS WITH NEW SINGLE ‘SYSTEM’
Odd Mob and OMNOM return under their joint project HYPERBEAM with the release of System, out now via October Records (Insomniac). The track is a heavy-hitting, bass-fueled roller that flips M.I.A. – Paper Planes in a way no one saw coming, skipping the obvious vocal hook and instead leaning into a raw, unexpected sample. Already a secret weapon in the duo’s sets, System has been circulating the scene for some time, dating all the way back to Dom Dolla’s massive Red Rocks Amphitheatre show in April 2024.
FROM BEATPORT #1S TO FESTIVAL TAKEOVERS
The pair first collided on ‘Losing Control’ via John Summit’s Experts Only, a Beatport #1 that’s since racked up over 30 million streams. That breakout moment set the tone for the launch of HYPERBEAM, which came into full force with their debut EP The Unexplained on Insomniac Records. Their live debut at EDC Las Vegas showed just how powerful the project could be on stage, quickly followed by slots at Hangout Festival, Electric Forest, and Elements Festival, alongside a busy U.S. touring schedule that hasn’t slowed down since.
HYPERBEAM IS JUST GETTING STARTED
Individually, both artists continue to push boundaries. Odd Mob has stacked club anthems like Left To Right and collabs with Tiesto and Goodboys, while gearing up for a sold-out national tour across Australia. OMNOM, meanwhile, has cemented his reputation with headline shows at Hollywood Palladium, Ruins Knockdown Centre NY, and Concourse Project Austin. Together as HYPERBEAM, their latest single System is already seeing heavy support from Tiesto, Martin Garrix, Dom Dolla, VNSSA, and more, proving once again that this project isn’t just hitting the underground, it’s breaking through to the main stage.
