CASSA MAKES HIS PROFOUND DEBUT WITH WHIPPIN’ + gUEST MIX
Los Angeles-based producer CASSA joins PROFOUND with ‘Whippin’’, a groove-driven tech house release built for the dancefloor.
Pairing a rolling bassline with punchy percussion and infectious vocal work, ‘Whippin’’ delivers raw club energy through a tight, DJ-focused arrangement. The groove sits at the heart of the record, with its bassline and vocals working together to deliver an immediate hook. Direct and energetic, it makes a strong introduction to CASSA’s sound as he joins the label.
CASSA has been steadily building his reputation, earning support for his music from Cloonee, Wade, GORDO and Mason Collective. With releases on Criterio, Used Goods and Intentions already behind him, the emerging producer continues to take his sound beyond his Los Angeles base.
His debut on PROFOUND marks the next step in that journey, bringing a fresh addition to our catalogue with a record that keeps its focus firmly on the floor.
Since its release, ‘Whippin’’ has picked up DJ support from Chester Young, alongside placements on Spotify playlists including HOUSE PARTY 2026, Dance Hits, EDM Family | 2026 Selections, The Groove Lab | 2026 and IBIZA TECHNO HOUSE 2026.
