LEFTI LANDS A HEAVYWEIGHT RETURN TO THERE WAS JACK WITH HEART & SOUL

LEFTI makes a strong return to There Was Jack with Heart & Soul, a straight-up club tool that’s already doing serious work. Out since July 4th, it’s now sitting at #3 on the Traxsource Tech House charts and gaining fast support from names like David Penn, CID, and Earth N Days. It’s got all the right ingredients: tough drums, a rolling bassline, tight house stabs, and a vocal that cuts through without overdoing it. It’s a no-nonsense release that hits exactly where it needs to, on the dancefloor.

FROM BROOKLYN TO THE BOOTH

Behind the LEFTI project is Alex Suarez, a Brooklyn-based producer with over two decades in the game. From early days touring as a musician to late-night sets across NYC, he’s carved out a lane rooted in house but open to evolution. Since launching LEFTI, he’s delivered for labels like Toolroom, DVINE Sounds, Nervous, and Kittball, and in 2021, started his own imprint Quincy Boy Records. The goal? Total creative control and a space to lift others up, a rare combo that’s paid off.

HEART & SOUL IS BUILT FOR THE FLOOR

This track feels like a moment. Heart & Soul pulls from classic house while leaning into tougher, tech-driven edges, the kind of blend that doesn’t chase trends, it cuts through them. It’s loaded with detail, but it never gets in its own way. That’s where LEFTI shines, tight arrangements, smart sound design, and a clear understanding of what actually works in a club. If you're not already across it, now’s the time.
