Brazilian producer Roddy Lima delivers his biggest statement yet with the release of his Night Time EP via John Summit’s label Experts Only. The two-track release includes “Night Time” and “Shadows,” both crafted for peak club energy with Lima’s signature minimalist touch. After teasing the title track during a surprise back-to-back with John Summit at Space Miami, anticipation has surged around this release, marking Lima’s second outing on the powerhouse label. The EP officially kicks off his Night Time tour and solidifies his rising influence in the global house circuit.
TWO TRACKS BUILT FOR THE DANCEFLOOR
“Night Time” is a percussive tech house cut driven by sharp snares and a deep, rolling rhythm. Its standout vocal “why you gotta be so shy in the night time?” guides listeners through three distinct drops, each intensifying the energy until a bold final descent. “Night Time captures everything I love about minimal tech house, stripped back, deep, and raw,” says Lima. Its follow-up, “Shadows,” goes deeper and darker, weaving through low BPM grooves and mysterious vocal loops before unleashing a precise instrumental build. “Shadows was created to explore that space between darkness and energy,” Lima explains. Both tracks have already seen support from Max Styler, John Summit, and more at iconic venues like Hi Ibiza.
BUILDING GLOBAL RECOGNITION
This release arrives as Lima’s career gains serious momentum. With performances across top venues in the U.S., and an upcoming slot at Experts Only Festival NYC on Randall’s Island this September, Lima is positioning himself at the forefront of the minimal-tech house wave. His blend of club-ready tracks and atmospheric grooves continues to earn the backing of major players like Fisher, Cassian, and Michael Bibi, with his previous releases on Repopulate Mars, Catch & Release, and Experts Only securing top-tier support and streaming traction.
