JEFF SORKOWITZ RETURNS TO SHORT CIRCUIT WITH ‘FEEL THE SAME’
Brooklyn-based DJ and producer Jeff Sorkowitz returns to his own Short Circuit imprint with ‘Feel The Same’, bringing together heavyweight bass, punchy drums and an uplifting vocal groove. Released on 4th September, the track sits in Beatport’s Minimal / Deep Tech category, moving at a rolling 129 BPM.
At its core, ‘Feel The Same’ pairs a powerful bassline with vocal cuts that drive the rhythm forward. Thick percussion gives the record its physical impact, while a warm, feel-good character brings a lighter touch to the low-end weight. It’s a combination built to carry across daytime dancefloors and late-night club sessions, keeping the groove at the centre throughout.
The release arrives with support from CamelPhat and Mau P, which also highlights the track’s appearance during Carl Cox and Mau P’s back-to-back set at Château de Chantilly in France. That exposure adds to the momentum surrounding Sorkowitz and his music, bringing his underground sound to a wider audience.
