PROFOUND SPOTLIGHTS THREE RISING TALENTS ON ‘AMSTERDAM 2026’ ADE SAMPLER

PROFOUND sets its sights on Amsterdam with ‘Amsterdam 2026’, a three-track sampler released on 16th September ahead of Amsterdam Dance Event. Bringing together Lackmus, Derek Jocelyn and Onacity, the release explores tech house and bass-driven club music through three distinct approaches. From darker, bass-heavy sounds to groove-led productions, the compilation puts emerging talent at the centre of the label’s ADE offering.

Lackmus brings a darker edge to the sampler, drawing on a catalogue that includes releases on Confession, Hexagon, Lip Service and Found Frequencies. His debut on Tchami’s Confession, ‘Ravers Bounce’ with BRANDON, reached No.1 on Beatport’s Bass House chart, establishing an early milestone for the producer. Support from Diplo, Tchami, CID, Biscits and The Chainsmokers has since helped take his music to dancefloors worldwide, with his contribution here building on that bass-heavy foundation.

New Jersey-born, Philadelphia-based Derek Jocelyn represents the sampler’s high-energy tech house side. Following releases on Crazy Nutz Music and Material, his 2025 ‘Free Your Mind’ EP earned support from Silvie Loto, VLTRA and Club De Combat, while ‘TSOS’ landed on Slothacid’s ‘Sleepers Vol. 3’ compilation in 2026. Alongside his studio output, Derek has been building his presence in Philadelphia with appearances at The Barbary and Vinyl, opening for artists including Noizu and Airrica.

Completing the lineup, Bengali-Japanese producer Onacity brings a groove-led approach shaped by precise sound design and his use of original vocals under the alias Buni Boy. With more than one million streams across platforms, releases on Stereohype, On The Way and House Views, and support from James Hype, Tita Lau and Roger Sanchez, he arrives with growing recognition across the house scene. Together, the three artists give ‘Amsterdam 2026’ a varied club identity, offering a snapshot of the talent PROFOUND is championing this ADE season.
