WESTEND & TWIN DIPLOMACY LINK UP ON TRACE AMOUNTS WITH ‘SENSATIONAL’
Westend continues the momentum of his Trace Amounts imprint with ‘Sensational’, a new collaboration alongside Miami-born duo Twin Diplomacy. Built for late nights, dark rooms and high-energy club settings, the track brings together Westend’s sharp tech-house instincts with the duo’s melodic and groove-led approach.
The record leans into a darker side of the dancefloor, pairing heavy low-end movement with crisp percussion, warped builds and a sultry vocal line that gives the track its hook. Rather than sitting in one predictable lane, ‘Sensational’ moves with a sense of tension and unpredictability, using off-centre breaks and rolling club pressure to create a track designed for peak-time impact.
The collaboration also reflects a wider part of Westend’s work beyond his own productions. Through both Trace Amounts and his Kick & Bass community, he has made a clear effort to support emerging producers and bring rising talent into his world. That ethos runs through ‘Sensational’, with Twin Diplomacy joining the label for a release that feels both natural and forward-facing.
Westend has spoken about wanting to work closely with the next generation of artists coming through, and Twin Diplomacy fit that vision perfectly. For the duo, the track was built with late-night spaces in mind, aiming to push the dancefloor into something darker, heavier and more energetic.
Since emerging in 2016, native New Yorker Westend has become a key figure in the modern house and tech-house landscape. His catalogue includes collaborations with John Summit, HUGEL, ACRAZE and SIDEPIECE, alongside releases on labels including Toolroom, Catch & Release, Solotoko and Dirtybird. The release arrives during a standout 2026 run, following appearances at Lollapalooza, Day Trip, Electric Forest and Elements Festival, as well as recent singles including ‘Feels Better’ and ‘The Ceiling’.
Made up of twin brothers Marius and Darius Bell, Twin Diplomacy have been steadily carving out their own lane with a sound that blends melodic house, tech house and club-focused energy. With collaborations alongside Ship Wrek and NIIKO X SWAE, plus releases on Confession, IN / ROTATION and Armada Music, the duo continue to build momentum ahead of their upcoming Mirage Tour.
With ‘Sensational’, Westend and Twin Diplomacy deliver a track that feels both collaborative and club-ready. It is dark, driving and full of late-night tension, while also highlighting the role Trace Amounts is playing in connecting established names with the next wave of producers pushing house music forward.
