TECHNE LABEL BOSS NOIZU DEBUTS ON PATRICK TOPPING’S TRICK WITH ‘SNAPPED UP’
English-born, LA-based producer Noizu has been a driving force in house music for over a decade. His releases have appeared on influential imprints including Insomniac Records and Tchami’s Confession, while his own Techne Records has become a cornerstone of the modern house scene. With hundreds of millions of streams and co-signs from heavyweights like Chris Lake and Skrillex, Noizu has also performed at major festivals such as HARD Summer, EDC Orlando, and EDC Las Vegas. Now, he steps onto Patrick Topping’s Trick for his label debut, ‘Snapped Up.’
INSPIRED ON THE ROAD
“I made ‘Snapped Up’ in my hotel rooms while on tour in Australia. I was supporting Fisher and Chris Lake for some shows and wanted to make something that fit perfectly in my sets. That’s also when I properly met Patrick Topping, and we started talking about music. This record just felt like the right fit for Trick,” says Noizu.
A TRACK WITH ATTITUDE
‘Snapped Up’ delivers raw, rapped vocals over gritty synths, bouncy drums, and a sleazy low-end. An elastic bassline drives the record toward a powerful drop made for the dancefloor. Blending high energy, sharp production, and a nod to old-school house, Noizu’s Trick debut is set to make an impact across club floors worldwide.
